Black River Muay Thai was born from an relentless pursuit of knowledge and growth. From the very beginning, the mission was clear: to learn deeply, live the true essence of Muay Thai, and pass it on with authenticity.

Our head coach began teaching in 2004, building experience, discipline, and a strong technical foundation in the art. Years later, driven by the desire to evolve even further, he traveled to train at the renowned 13 Coins Gym in Bangkok, one of the most respected Muay Thai training centers in the world. That experience played a major role in shaping the technical and cultural identity of the team.

In 2016, Black River Muay Thai was officially founded in Manaus, in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. Since then, the academy has become a place for physical, mental, and technical development for countless students.

Over the years, students with different goals have walked through our doors. Some were looking for a healthier lifestyle, while others pursued competition. The story of Black River is built by every student who stepped into the gym ready to grow.

More than a gym, Black River Muay Thai represents discipline, tradition, and a commitment to continuous evolution.
